Love making envelopes

I think the envelope template I got
is one of the best arts & crafts tools
I received in ages!

Turning an old calendar into envelopes

This used to be the cover of letterpaper
(front)

(back)

Two tags I made

And I got another gift card which
came with this cute Rilakkuma set

So, more stationery will follow soon!

In a creative mood

I found this idea on Pinterest
and I thought I should try

I think it looks nice

This postcard has been in my "to send" collection
forever. It simply doesn't match anyone's wishlist.

I noticed some altered (or maybe updated?) postcards on blogs and gave it a try.
The light isn't good to take pics, but here is my first attempt to
alter a postcard.

This is what I ordered with the gift card
my best friend gave me, a letter pad
and beautiful stickers.

And this is what I got from my pen-friend
Suzanne.
 She spoiled me!

Stamps! What else?

Trying to take stamps from the USA off envelopes is a pain
I leave them on the paper these days and just cut around them

Top right:
The United States Post Office honoured ten poets
with their very own postage stamps
(set of 10, 2012)
Top left:
In honor of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, the U.S. Postal Service issued a limited-edition commemorative stamp, August 23 2013
Bottom:
On March 24 2012, the U.S. Postal Service marked the 100th anniversary of a gift of 3,000 flowering cherry trees from Japan by issuing two commemorative postage stamps that together create a panoramic view of the iconic trees in full flower around Washington’s Tidal Basin.

The cherry trees were a gift from Tokyo Mayor Yukio Ozaki to President William Howard Taft in 1912. First lady Helen Herron Taft and Viscountess Chinda, wife of the Japanese ambassador, planted the first two trees on the north bank of the Tidal Basin on March 27 of that year.

Back! With some mail

I received lots of lovely mail during the time I disappeared from my blog
Most of it came from the Netherlands!

From Els, via facebook "snailmail nl"

From Anne Beth, via facebook "snailmail nl"

From Kat (Belgium!), via facebook "snailmail nl"
There was a chocolat too...

I already received birthday mail!
I opened one, as I wasn't feeling well
and needed something to cheer me up

But this one is still a mystery!
Eleven more days and then I can open it...
