After lunch in the park, we started by going to the Royal Palace. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures inside (such a stupid rule). So most of us bought postcards which showed some of the rooms. The Palace is beautiful and during the summer free to visit. It didn’t take us really long to walk through the rooms, but I don’t regret for a second that we went to see it.
Those who wanted to see Manneken Pis left the rest of the group (including me) at the ‘Grote Markt’. We went to the restaurant where we would eat later and already started to write cards on the terrace. Suddenly we felt some raindrops, within seconds we gathered everything and moved inside, nothing was allowed to harm the postcards of course, haha. When everybody joined the group again, we continued writing cards, exchanged addresses, talked and took pictures because not everybody would stay for dinner. In total we wrote 243 cards, not bad, don’t you think?
