I received some very nice mail today. One swap from Russia and a letter with lots of extras from a pen-friend from the Netherlands.

a beautiful woman who either punishes or rewards the one who meets her.
Deze kaartjes komen van al de plaatsen die mijn penvriendin
heeft bezocht de laatste maanden. Ze heeft ook een klein
teddybeertje en Sinterklaas chocolade mee gestuurd.
These cards are from all the places my pen-friend visited
the last few months. She also added a tiny teddy bear
and "Sinterklaas" chocolate.
Nice mail! It's interesting how snakes are typical in Urals. In Japan, snakes are considered to be good luck, and if you find a snake's empty shell, you keep it as it's a good luck for money in Japan. :) But I never want to touch the snake skin (ugh), so maybe that's why I'm not a millionaire! lol
