This beauty fell in my mailbox today
Fairies' Whirl by Arthur John Black
Arthur John Black (1855-1936) is a well listed landscape and
portrait artist who worked in both oil and watercolour. He
studied in Paris at the Academie des Beaux Arts under the noted
artist Benjamin Constant. He exhibited at the Royal Academy 36
times, and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters 54 times. He was a
member of both the New Society of Painters in Watercolours and
the Royal Institute of Painters in Oil. He lived in Nottingham in
1884, London 1890 and Dorset from 1931 to his death in 1936.
A number of his works can be seen in the Castle Museum &
Gallery in Nottingham, The Gurnsey Museum of Art, and in many
private and public galleries.
I usually don't show the back, but Amanda made it
look so pretty!

I also got some extra cards in the envelope but I don't know if I am going to use them to send out or keep them for myself. Once I know, you'll see them appear.
