Ja, ik ben wereldberoemd!

Yes, I'm world-famous! 

Ik kreeg gisteren deze kaart, de foto is gemaakt op de Postcrossing meeting in Brussel (28.08.2011).

I received this card yesterday, the picture is taken at the Postcrossing meeting in Brussels (28.08.2011).  

En deze postzegel zat op een kaart die ik vandaag kreeg. De foto is gemaakt toen mijn lieve penvriendin uit Taiwan bij mij op bezoek was deze zomer. 

And this stamp sat on a card I received today. The picture is taken when my sweet pen-friend from Taiwan came to visit me this summer. 

Bath

Van de achterkant van de kaart: Jane Austen is misschien de meest bekende en meest geliefde van Bath's vele beroemde inwoners en bezoekers. Ze woonde in Bath van 1801 tot 1806 en het sociale leven van de stad is levendig beschreven in enkele van haar romans.

From the back of the card: Jane Austen is perhaps the best known and best loved of Bath's many famous residents and visitors. She lived in Bath from 1801 to 1806 and the social life of the city is vividly portrayed in some of her novels.

Ik heb weer meegedaan aan een swap met kinderen voor educatieve doeleinden. Deze keer komt het kaartje uit Maleisië, van een kind met 'speciale behoeften'.
I participated again in a swap with children for educational purposes. This time the card comes from Malaysia, from a child with special needs.

Montenegro

Kotor is een kuststad in Montenegro. De oude Mediterrane haven van Kotor is omgeven door een indrukwekkende stadsmuur gebouwd door de Republiek van Venetië en de Venetiaanse invloeden blijven overheersend in de architectuur van de stad. Kotor staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst als de "Natuurlijke en Cultureel-Historische Regio van Kotor". Het omvat de oude stad, de fortificaties van Kotor en de omliggende regio van de Baai van Kotor.

Kotor is a coastal city in Montenegro. The old Mediterranean port of Kotor is surrounded by an impressive city wall built by the Republic of Venice and Venetian influence remains predominant in the city's architecture. Kotor is part of the World Heritage Site as the "Natural and Culturo-Historical Region of Kotor". It includes the old town of Kotor, the fortifications of Kotor, and the surrounding region of the inner Bay of Kotor.
